Itching Problem for Baby

My daughter is 6 months old. She has bad itching around her ear and forehead also in her head. She feels comfort when I do. Whats the problem with her? Around her ear she has dandruff maybe or something else also have very small red spots like. Yesterday I used fucidin after that she slept. She was crying badly sometimes later, again I apply fucidin now she is sleeping. Please dr guide me.

Dear Patient,

Please don't apply Fucidin. If you have changed her soap recently switch back to the old one, do not use hard detergents on her clothes, use baby detergents.
If the soap is the same switch to mild brands like Dove or Cetaphil. Apply physiogel to the dry parts and all over the body while the skin is still damp and not totally dry, dont rub the lotion, just apply generously. Kindly see a dermatologist at the earliest as this may be eczema or some allergy and its best to be sure rather than trying different treatments ourselves.
