Jaundice in newborn

I want to know the Treatment of Mild jaundice in newborn? The baby was ok on day 1 and 2. But become pale on 3rd day had 20% in the first test and remained in the nursery for two days and discharged on 8.9% with 7 days dose of debitone syrup in morning n evening. But now it’s 8th day and she is too much pale. Even the feet are pale. What can be the reason and any treatment?

Dear Patient,

I'm sorry to hear that but I am not aware of syrup debitone. What is it used for? Why did the doctor give any medicine to the newborn for jaundice? In my knowledge, the only mother feed is required as treatment at home unless the child is admitted. Even then no medication is advised.
