Joints Problem

My mother has been suffering from joints problem. She suffers from severe pain in her knees and since 3 to 4 years has abandoned walking completely because it gets difficult for her to breath. After doing an Echo test the doctor prescribed some medicines that sadly didn’t work. My question is, should we change the medicines and what changes can we make in her diet? Is all of this because of overweight?

Dear Patient,

Why did the doctor perform her heart Echo when the problem is in her knees? Sounds like she may have arthritis or something equally painful for her to abandon walking. Kindly, take her to an orthopedic. She needs some X Rays before more can be said about her condition. What is her weight? Diet alone cannot, unfortunately, help her if she isn't even able to walk.
