Labor Pain

Asked for Female, 33 years

I wanted to ask is castor oil safe to start labor pain? I'm 38 weeks pregnant and Dr has asked me to get admitted tomorrow but she will not wait after 38 weeks because I'm chronic hypertension patient but it is under control by medicines. I want to deliver naturally that's why I want to start labor pain. Pls, give your suggestions.

Dear Patient,

Please please please do NOT consume ghee, castor oil, etc in an attempt to induce labor- it's known to have caused the fetus to aspirate meconium which can be so harmful!
I'm sharing some tips to trigger labor naturally. In addition to the article below try doing jharoo pocha of Maximum area sitting like massi do, have lots of sex as it's known to induce labor, nipple stimulation releases delivery hormones too. Also if everything fails and you have to for induction and c section then have faith and trust your doctor, everything will work out for the best. Good luck.
