Lactation problem

Asked for Female, 35 years

Is there any dr who can suggest me something about Lactation. I have my daughter 4 days ago whenever I am lactating as she latches, blood is coming. Same situation I faced with my 1st daughter till I ended up spending a lot of money to buy healing creams and to Drs but all in vain. I really want to feed her plz suggest me something.

Dear Patient,

I'm sorry to hear that. Simply after every hour squeeze a little milk out and rub on your nipples and air dry, your nipples are cracked and this will help heal them
Place cold cabbage leaf in your bra after nursing. Use nipple shield to nurse her, buy a good brand as they will attach well. Also, apply mycitracin ointment after nursing but make sure to wash it with soap thoroughly before nursing as it's not safe for ingestion. If things don't improve kindly see a general or breast surgeon
