Leg Cramps

What are the causes of Midnight leg cramps and How can I overcome from this issue? I am suffering from this problem since a long time its like compulsory in summers maybe because of air conditioner. But sometimes in winter as well. These cramps stays for 2 to 3 months and then sunddenly they go away for 1 or 2 months.

What kind of lifestyle do you have? Do you walk a lot or climb a lot? Do you stay outdoors often? Do you have 14-16 glasses of water? Do you check your bp and Vitamin D regularly? This is probably happening due to low water and calcium in your body. Take CaC-1000 once a day for one mth and get your Vitamin D tested and treated if low. Have lots of water and a glass of milk and one egg daily. This should help. Also when cramps occur apply warm olive oil to calves and wrap lightly.
