Leg Recovery

Asked for Male, 7 years

My son underwent an intestinal surgery when he was only 3 days old and was admitted to the hospital for a month. IV lines were injected in his veins for injections. It’s been 2 months but still he can’t move his leg. My question is, why is it not recovering? Is it something to be worried about? Should I consult the doctors again or will it recover with time?

What do you mean his leg cannot move? Can he not move it at all and put weight on it?
This sounds a little unusual and you will need to consult an orthopedic and a child specialist for a 2nd opinion.
