My Daughter is 2 years old her HB level is 7.1 she is also a picky eater most of her diet is milk or milk intake products she rejects to chew also next week I Visit my child doc but I am worried about her HB level what should I do to increase her HB level

Dear Patient,

No need to worry. Give her half bottle (5ml) syrup Vermox as stat dose to deworm her. Toddlers frequently get worms in their stomach which makes their Hb fall, makes them weak and cranky and reduces appetite. Give her 5ml syrup maltofer daily for six weeks to boost her iron levels. Give chicken liver, apples, pomegranate, beetroot etc to boost iron levels.
