Can i give Panadol drops to my 5 months old baby with oxidil injections to lower the temperature. I forgot to ask doctor. Right now hes having high fever even after 1 dose of oxidil 500mg.

Dear Patient,

Yes you can give 1/8th dropper panadol syrup to a 5mo, every 6hrs till pain/fever wears off. Why did he prescribe antibiotics to a 5mo child? Its absolutely discouraged to give a small child antibiotics unless he has some severe illness. We hope your child recovers soon. Since you have already started the meds its best to finish course.
