Can someone plz guide me about the use of panadol and brufen in 6 months old baby. I mean one Dr is giving panadol and other is giving brufen with the same problem. How Drs diagnose the need for both syrups?

Dear Patient,

It is generally given as alternates.
First, give 5ml panadol then after 4 to 6 hrs give 5ml brufen and so on

Till it is prescribed

They both are analgesics with anti-inflammatory effects prescribed alternatively as a regimen
