MF problems

Asked for Female, 34 years

My one month old baby is on mother feed. I want to ask is it not good to give mother feed to a kid after coming from a hot kitchen after cooking? Does it affect the baby’s health? And from 20 days I have been using Hi-Lacta cap for increasing MF and when I don’t take it I again face less MF. So I want to ask for how long can I take these capsules and do they have any side effects?

Dear Patient,

You can take up to 2 capsules twice a day. These are herbal capsules with no known side effects. You can discontinue them once you can produce sufficient milk on your own.
After coming from a hot kitchen you can quickly wash your breast or wipe it with a clean damp towel dipped in warm water and dry it before putting it in the child's mouth. Shower daily on hot days. It would be enough for the baby to remain healthy.
