Hi! I was 8 weeks pregnant and went for ultrasound and everything was perfectly alright. 5 days later I started to bleed and it was miscarriage. Now fetus samples are in Lab. What’s molar pregnancy and is there’s a chance of molar pregnancy with complete fetus normal heartbeat and could be dangerous to a level of cancerous cells? I’m really scared. No history of miscarriage and have one healthy baby boy 8 months old MashaAllah through c section.

I understand how concerning your symptoms are and how scary it is I would like to know if your doctor spoke to you and called your fets a 'molar pregnancy'? In either case, a molar pregnancy is sometimes when things go a bit unfavorably and the cells don't form as they should. Sometimes yes there is a chance of recurrence or further damage for which you need a good gynecologist who'll keep you on careful follow-ups in the future. However 80% of times it benign that is nonconcerning. you have a good chance of being that person. Also please avoid pregnancy for a couple of years esp after C section & take folate.
