Missed Period

Asked for Female, 33 years

I am 4 days over due from period.My cycle has been of 28 days since teenage,it always comes exactly on time I am having menstrual cramps, stinging lower backache,sensation of period since expected date I am fasting for last 15 days. Can fasting cause missed period? What can be other possible reasons for missed period? P.S: Not using oral/Harmonal contraceptives No history of Pcos Not pregnant Not nursing mother First time Mother of 8 months old

Fasting does not cause a delayed period.
Sometimes its normal for a few days of delay no matter how fixed your cycle is. However, if you do feel restless a Serum Beta HCG test can confirm if you are expecting again. If the test comes negative you may see a specialist as to why your problem persists.
