Mosquito Bites

My son got mosquito bites on his leg yesterday night. I gave him antiallergy. In the afternoon some of the bites got swollen more than the normal mosquito bite. I washed his legs with cold water for soothing effect and gave him some aerius (anti-allergy) again. By the night the mosquito bites on his big joints like knee, ankle have swollen too much and have got painful as well that he isn't letting me to even clean it with a cotton swab dipped in cold water and also is so restless.
