Need Advice

Asked for Female, 61 years

My mother had inflammation in Deltoid muscle so we consult with an orthopedic surgeon and did surgery of wound. Later infection occurred. then wound was opened again because previous surgery wasn't good and so again surgery was done now there's foreign body infection. Test for Deltoid region histopathology indicates Sinus tract tunneling. Kindly tell me what can i do for her? What would be the proper treatment?

In my humble opinion a pus culture can be done before giving antibiotics to give correct antibiotics along with manual drainage if needed. Kindly consult another orthopedic for a second opinion. However, in repeated infections, it is advisable to drAin wound under anesthesia.
