Need Suggestion

I'm not in favor to pack the baby all the time but nowadays I'm in a quite cold area so have to pack my 9 months baby all the time. Although I strictly take care of hygiene, wash the baby before changing the diaper but a little bit worried also. According to the medical point of view is it fine to pack the baby for such a long time, there wouldn't be any genital issue?

Dear Patient,

As long as you wash the child in every pamper change, pat dry and apply some vaseline before closing the pamper, it should be ok. If you have heated rooms, you can keep the child in light layers for 10-30mins to give some relaxed time outside the layers, otherwise its better to protect the child from cold winds than worry about excessive layers. Keep the head of the child covered when going out.
