No Periods

My friend is married for 5 years and no kids yet. She is overweight. She visited gyne and doctor advised to reduce weight to conceive. She joined the gym and started a healthy lifestyle and reduced from 106 to 81 kg in 2.5 months. She has a regular menstrual cycle but after joined gym, she is having no periods. She has done a strip test which is negative and no sex is done in between because her husband is out of town.

I'm sorry to hear that. Did the gynecologist do her hormonal blood tests and Ultrasound? What were the reports?
It may be that she's having some hormonal imbalances due to which her periods aren't coming. She needs to meet with a gynecologist who specialises in infertility and get proper treatment even if all other things are normal to help maximize her chances of conceiving.
