Not feeling Well

Asked for Female, 11 years

My daughter is 5 years and 4 months weight 23 kg...severe nose blocked but no fever had watery eyes yesterday and was not super active as always... gave panadol 7.5 ml... after that she was fine... did steam at night and gave anti allergy T-day..but of no help.. pls advise... had a very restless sleep.. any other medication required or not pls advise... thankyou

Dear Patient,
if there is pain or fever then give panadol. if there is no fever then there is no need for panadol. when we adults experience viral flu we get so tired and lo, kids are the same and find it difficult to express their problems. give her energizing foods like yakhni, sagoodana. avoid spicy and fried foods as they may hurt the throat. continue steam and anti allergy for 5 dys. steam can be given for longer. virals heal themselves in 10-14 dys. keep a humidifier in the room where the child sleeps so she can breathe easily.
