oligohydroamionos growth retardation

Female Patient… Age 37years… She conceived after 4 yrs of marriage. Have 37 weeks of gestation with oligohydroamionos growth retardation. What is the outcome of this pregnancy?? Is there any way or medicine to correct oligohydroamionos and growth retardation at this point?

Dear Patient,

There is amniotic fluid in the uterus to keep the baby cushioned n healthy. This can be less or more sometimes due to some problems in the mother or child. This can even occur in normal pregnancy. Growth retardation means the fetus isn't growing as expected. At this point, the pregnancy is near end n the child can be delivered early so that he can receive the relevant nutrition outside and grow normally. This is the case when the fetus is normal and is only small due to less fluid. Your report can Show us if there's any more a problem.
