My 11months old daughter is 11.5kgs in weight and 29inches in height. Day by day its becoming difficult to carry her as She is developmentally delayed. She neither turn over nor sits without support.She is having SoX2 syndrome. She only takes motherfeed 4oz through feeder 8-10times a day because she is cleft palate. I m worried about her weight. What could be the possible reason of her being overweight and how to control it.

Dear Patient,

Since the baby is unable to move, the food intake has to be monitored so that she doesn't gain much weight. I'll advise you to see a dietician and get a proper diet plan to help with weight maintenance.
