Pain in delivery stitches

I am 33 weeks pregnant and 7 years back I went through a C section during giving birth. My stitches didn't hurt but now they hurt a lot and I am 8 months pregnant. Whenever I sit or stand, any movement triggers the pain. My question is, is it normal? Any painkiller that can help the pain?
