Pain in eyes

Patient feeling pain in left eye(supraorbital region), left side of forehead and left temporal region for past 3 days, myopic, mild pain with no symptoms, sleep pattern is disturbed. Kindly suggest something.

Dear Patient,

Myopia is common, it means poor far vision. Maybe the patient’s eye power has changed- vision test is needed to confirm this.
Also, this pain may be due to sinuses being full (if the patient has or has had flu recently).
This could also be migraine if associated with nausea or aura.
Take 2 tablets panadol as needed (2-3 times a day).
If pain persists and eye test is normal see a medical specialist.
