Pain in Jaw

I have pain on the right side of my jaw, associated with clogging of right ear. Sometimes pain radiates to the right side of the head. Audiometry and MRI tests are done but reports are normal. What might be the problem?

Dear Patient,

I’m sorry to hear this. if clogging of the ear is due to infection then once the infection is resolved you will feel better. due to ear wax/ear infection, a nerve may be pressed and is causing these symptoms.

You can apply hot/warm compresses to the affected side for temporary relief, take tablet ponstan forte in the morning to manage pain for 1 week. Avoid fast movement of jaw and hard foods.
If the problem does not resolve to refer to another ENT.
