Pain in Lower Abdomen

Mostly left side and middle just above the hair line. Pain is sharp. Feel a little dizzy and nausea. Had mirena put in 3 weeks ago, haven't stopped menstrual bleeding since, heavier today.

Dear Patient,

Kindly show a gynecologist at the earliest. Mirena is known to cause excessive bleeding but you may dizzy and nauseous due to excessive loss of blood. Take fefolvit tablet for a mth once per day. Take tablet transamine 200mg thrice a day for three days to help slow down bleeding. A gynecologist will decided whether to do an ultrasound or if to replace the mirena again if not placed right.
