Pain in thigh

Aoa,29 weeks of pregnancy having unbearable pain in left leg thigh, have used burden gel, pain is persistent but gets lows for some time. Is it DVT? No previous history of DVT. Already taking loprin due to decrease Afi in a previous pregnancy.

Dear Patient,

I'm sorry to hear that. Dvt is a medical emergency. Women more likely to have it are obese, taking hormonal contraceptives for longer and also who are immobile. Have lots of water and try wrapping your thigh gentle but firmly with a crepe bandage.
If the skin is warm or red on the affected part and any area below it is turning blue then it may be Dvt for which you should consult a medical specialist immediately.
