Pains in Hands

My friend's hands have some serious swelling . She cant bend her fingers as they are very stiff. She is complaining of pain since morning. Please suggest me a better solution to this problem?

Dear Patient,

How long has she been having this pain/swelling/stiffness since and what symptoms appeared first, kindly list them in time of appearance?
If this has been going since some weeks its time to see a rheumatologist/orthopedic who can run an x-ray and look into this matter further.
Kindly soak his hand in lukewarm water for 20mins a few times a day. Also, ice it for a few mins daily as well. Massage daily with lukewarm olive oil for five mins.
