Pollen Allergies

My daughter recently started having seasonal/ pollen allergies. We reside in a city of USA with very hot and dry weather. Her symptoms are, swollen itchy eyes, sneezing and runny nose. Here I am giving her over the counter children’s allergy medicine which is working fine. I wanted to know if in Karachi she will have the same problem or not? Should I bring stock of it to give her in Karachi as well? Please advise.

Dear Patient,

Have you got her tested to allergies to find out which substances are causing her symptoms? for a longterm solution, you can give her allergy shots available easily in the USA. for Pakistan, you can get a box of Allegra or any other antiallergy with you. over here we have many anti-allergies easily available and montelukast sodium, etc that can settle allergies but if convenient carry your child's own medications if needed. pollen allergies can be expected here but it may not be as bad as there.
