Dear Patient,

Which precautions did you take? An IUD, hormonal pills or barriers like condoms? If you took a combination, when and how did you take them? Mostly women take hormonal treatments for family planning, it takes some months for the cycle to get back to normal and for the ovulation to occur accordingly. Hence one should expect to give the body some time to become normal before it can conceive. It is normal and not alarming; without other symptoms, a gyne opinion isn't needed.
