I am currently 8 weeks pregnant and have gained 5kgs till now. I am so worried as i think it's not normal weight gain. How can I control this excessive weight gain??

Dear Patient,

Do not stress out. Every woman’s body is unique and each pregnancy is unique. There is no normal weight gain.
Avoid foods rich in sugars and fats.
Do 30 mins of walk-in park/open space daily.
-be physically active around the house unless the doctor advises otherwise.
Avoid junk food like chocolate chips and box juices.
Take fresh juice and a serving of fruits and vegetables daily.
Take tablet folate once daily.
Enjoy and relax.
