Severe gas issues

22 days old baby having severe gas issues. the doctor has prescribed lactif drops but not helping much. On mother feed as well as Meiji formula. passes stool regularly but always exerting himself due to colic issues. My question is can we give him both lactif and colic drops?

Dear Patient,

Thank you for your query. No. It's better to give him 10mins tummy time before each meal and do exercises that promote the gas release in infants (there are videos available on YouTube). Also, make sure the bottle's nipple has no air in it when putting the feeder in his mouth.
