Sharp Pain in Head

Asking for someone! Whenever I hear a loud sound for eg if a glass breaks or just car horns. I feel a sharp pain in my head. and if I don't get proper sleep I can get constant severe pain in the lower back of my head ?? should I consider MRI? or what does the symptoms apply?
