Shivering Body

Asked for Female, 18 years

My daughter is 13 years old & get periods also, today & 2 days before her body was shivering. I checked but no fever & no other problem. Today she is also badly shivering, her body temperature is normal to cold. please suggest me a quick way how to control her sharing? what's the reason? please reply.

Dear Patient,

I'm sorry to hear that. Whats her blood pressure? She could have anemia- low red cells or dehydration. Give her ORS once a day for three days.
Also give her one tablespoon of syrup maltofer daily for 6weeks to build her iron stores up. If she gets diarrhea then avoid it. Also, consult a general physician if things don't improve.
