Skin Problem

This appeared yesterday, but we ignored thinking it might be 'garmi danay' (weather is hot here). But now it has white collection on top more like blisters. Its only on wrists, knees, elbows and ankles. The child complains its itchy but no fever so far Alhamdulillah. She is 4 years old. Lately has been talking cough syrup only at night. Do i need to rush to emergency? Is it contagious? We have other children at home.

Dear Patient,
If she didnt have any flu or fever with it, it may not be something bacterial and will subside with cleanliness and care. However its best to show a child specialist to rule out hand, foot and mouth disease and maintain care so as to protect other kids too.
Give her bath with boiled neem leaves, wash her clothes, bedding and towels daily using disinfectant. Give bath using a mild soap and give her one tsp syrup zyrtec twice a day. Apply calamine lotion to it in generous amount. Keep these pimples clean and dry.
