Sleeping issue

It has been 4 months that I am facing a difficulty sleeping. I sleep for hardly 3 to 4 hours a day and although my routine is hectic and I get really tired at the end of the day but still can’t sleep much. Since a few days I feel dizzy and still can’t sleep. I am really fed up of the entire situation. Please suggest me what to do? Why is it happening and what should I do to overcome it?

Dear Patient,

Sleep overpowers us when we are both, PHYSICALLY AND Mentally exhausted. If you are stressed or overstressed sleep won't come easily if your routine doesn't involve at least 20mins of walking in the park/gym/exercise then even you won't sleep. As we grow older our bodies need change. So for starters, you could work on these. You could shut all screens n lights in your room at least an hr before sleeping. Try lying in bed & clearing your mind of thoughts- meditate. If these measures don't work you can see a medical specialist who may prescribe medication if needed.
