What are the best solid food and its quantity for a 6 month old baby? Kindly tell the schedule for the food with breast milk?

Dear Patient,

Start with semi solids like yogurt, mashed banana or rice.

Start giving a teaspoon thrice a day and gradually increase. Child wil develop taste and like so observe that and follow response.

Later you can give suji halwa, cerelac, cicken shredded with rice, soft mashed fruits
Boiled soft vegetables. Introduce all flavours and for the quantity it can be increased gradually from 3 meals to 6 small interval snacks

Just avoid fish, salt, excessive sugar, egg and honey.
