Sore throat in Pregnancy

Need some expert advice please. Having severe sore throat and pain along with low fever. I am 20 weeks 2days pregnant and my appointment with the doc is due on 27th May. Already bearing this pain since more than 2,3days tried every home remedy including gargles 4 to 5 times but nothing is working. Please please suggest me something to get relief atleast a little. Also, is it harmful for the unborn baby? Please give advice as soon as possible its getting worse and painful.

Dear Patient,

I'm sorry to hear that. Just take two tablets panadol twice a day, take tablet softin at night for three days. Gargle thrice a day with salt & water. And take steam. Avoid cold, sour and fried foods.
