sore tounge,abdominal cramps

My mother is having abdominal cramps with on and off diarrhea and constipation since last one month.From last week she is having sore tounge. Currently she is on medication; motilium,nexum 20mg,citanew 10mg,alp .25mg,dulan 30 mg,solifen 5mg prescribed by nephrologist from last one and half months.Are these cramps and sore tounge are due to these medications?kindly guide.

Dear Patient,

I'm sorry to hear that. Motilium will cause further diarrhea and needs to be changed. Sour tongue can be due to these medicines or due to having upset stomach. You didn't mention the illness for which she went to nephrologist. However, given her age, having alternating constipation and diarrhea isn't a good sign. Kindly consult a gastroenterologist or medical specialist.
