Stool Problem in Babies

Aoa. i want to know what might be the reason of greenish stool in infants and newborns? If it is due to cold what precaution should be taken to avoid?

Dear Patient,

During the first year or so of life the gut isn't well developed and usually stool color represents what the kids eat and has less medical significance. An orange stool is often seen with carrots, green with spinach and high iron foods and red stool when eating beetroot. There is no need for any precautions unless there is diarrhea. Which is not the case here.
