Stool problem

My daughter is 8 months old. since the day i have started giving her solids her poop is always dark green. Never yellow passes stool daily, no constipation. Is green poop normal? I'm giving her fruit purees , soji , oatmeal and porridge.

Dear Patient,

Yes poop is the color of foods and can change colors according to what she eats. Doctors dont consider it as a significant sign unless its pale or black in color or with blood or mucus God forbid. If she is passing semisolid stools once-twice day or so its normal.
