To check the random sugar after dinner, how long one has to wait. And if after one hour of dinner one took tea, what should be the time management to check the level. What should be the level after dinner and at fasting for normal sugar?

Dear Patient,

This is called random blood sugar and these levels are tested best half an hour BEFORE meal or minimum two hours AFTER meal for it to be accurate. The levels for random sugar should be between 111-200 mg/dl and fasting blood sugar should be around 90-110mg/dl.
