Swelling in Fingers

My right-hand middle finger usually swells up for a few days and then becomes normal, it's got all red around and I can’t touch it as it hurts me. I have been to orthopedic and even to derma but both of them weren’t able to find the proper problem. History:- Long back when I was almost 16years old I was hit by a ball at the same place, I have done x-ray many times and it shows a little hole in the same place. My ortho told me that I have the infection and it’s not increasing so ain’t any problem.
