Traveling after C section

Plz. I need suggestion about traveling by road after a c section. Can I travel after 11 days of c section after the opening of my stitches? And traveling is of 8 hours. However, it can be done in 4,4 hours phase as well with rest in between. I really need to travel to go to my mother's place.

Dear Patient,

I think your gynecologist is a better person to ask. However, with 4hr breaks and a stop for 15 mins after every 2 hours of travel, you may go to your mother’s home if other than that you and your child had no medical complications and are healthy otherwise. Take good care of stitches, keep them clean and dry and apply mycitracin ointment On them for good healing. Good luck
