Urine Problem

My sister was pregnant and went for an ultrasound but her bladder was empty and she waited for 2 hours but no sign of urine. then the dr. asked her to get an injection for urine to come fast. I want to ask is there any injection like this? Because she had a miscarriage a week ago.

Dear Patient,

Yes, there are diuretic injections but they are not given for problems like these. They are only given in conditions that are intense.
Your sister could have gone back and returned later when her bladder was full. It is always best to avoid undue medication especially when in early pregnancy
