UTI Problem

My daughter (4 yrs old) had severe UTI one & half yrs back Now I am afraid to get her any medicine for bladder as she is wetting the bed twice while sleeping we are trying to train her to pass urine by waking her up two times but still, she is wetting the bed Any advice? Any medicines or tests?

Dear Patient,

Is she unusually stressed lately? Is she having nightmares? Is she unusually cold or has excessive water after 6 pm? You can try restricting water intake after 6 pm or a few hours before bed and make sure she has Maximum water early in the day. Try to find out the cause of frequent urination related to external factors. Is her urine burning or hurtful? You can also perform a Urine DR and consult with a child specialist.
