Vaccination Advice

My daughter 2.5 year old fell down on the road and got a small wound. She had received tetanus in her 18 month vaccination. Is she required to get tetanus injection? Secondly, she is due for the second dose of hepatitis A, is it necessary to get from the same place or we can get from another place as well?

Dear Patient,

I'm sorry to hear that. You can get her a booster tetanus shot if the wound is extreme however if you have completed the tetanus course it keeps you safe for 10years.

For hepatitis A the second dose can be taken from anyplace else if you want.
