Vaccination

I need to ask about my son's vaccine. Due to some health issue we have postponed his vaccine of 24 months. My question is that he is having egg/peanut allergy and had severe hives too but now it is much better. Can we give him 24 months of Vaccine now?

Dear Patient,

If you mean there has been no vaccine given since birth till age 24mths(ie 2yrs) then you can start the course and most but not all vaccines can be given henceforth.
However, if you mean you only skipped doses for the age of 24mths and would like to give them now then yes you may. Try being on time but a little early/late vaccination should be fine too.
