Vomit and Stool

Aoa, baby boy of 6 days, born healthy, but right after his 2nd day till now his vomit and stool is of greyish black and he is quite weak now. What can be the issue??

Dear Patient,

Im sorry to hear this. Although newborns pass dark stools pr “meconium' upto 7-10dys after birth, vomits need to be refered to a child specialist or child ER immediately to assess the reason and avoid dehydration. Kindly take him to the nearest Emergency/hospital for assessment- if the child is vomiting/has fever/ seems dehydrated/refusing to feed!
