Mr Muhammad Umar Fayyaz is a Clinical/Sports Psychologist. Having 8 years of experience in the clinical/teaching domain he has Expertise in Psychological Testing, Research, Behavior Therapy, Specialized training in Autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders. Looks deep into the parent/child conflicts and get along with them in getting a solution focused approach. As a behavior therapist, he digs deep into issues in children having neurodevelopmental issues and the behavior management of children with teachers and parents forming a collaborative approach for the betterment of the child at behavioral and cognitive levels. As a Sports Psychologist, he has been working with cricketers at Domestic/International level representing Pakistan International or domestically representing their regions/departments. He has assisted them in identifying the major concerns like anxiety, injury, thoughts related to injury, and helping cricketers get back after an injury is incurred. He assists the cricketers and sports persons from other fields in forming a strategy with performance concerns at practice and competitions. His role as a sports psychologist is to bridge the gap of sports psychology research and practice with international community and help athletes strive better mentally reflecting in through the roleplays exercises, mental strategies and imagery techniques. He is a basic level Neuro Linguistic Programming practitioner and integrates NLP with traditional modes of psychotherapy. As Family and Marital Therapist, looks into the root cause of familial conflicts and help the families understand dynamics of their families and how to cope up with demands and challenges associated with it. As a Cognitive behavior Therapist his role is always to identify unhealthy cognitions/thought patterns and help clients modify and adapt with healthy cognitions. He is also serving as a Senior Lecturer and as a teacher his foremost priority is to bridge the gap between research and clinical domains and give confidence to the students who can communicate their areas of concerns regarding any domain. As an Instructor forming effective classroom management strategies, identifying students learning styles and implementing effective psychomotor domains of teaching helps him reach better levels of teaching in an ever improving methodological approach at university level. He also provides guidance/Counselling to candidates applying in civil services as CSS aspirants or Armed forces as cadets applying in the armed forces. Primary aim is to groom personality psychologically and get the desired results.
