Her research into breast cancer includes a number of extensive studies, some of which took many years to complete. Her study on the relationship between late-stage breast cancer and age in Pakistan is particularly extensive, sampling over 10,000 patients over the course of two decades. This study found that most women are only diagnosed with the illness when they have already reached stage 2.
Although breast surgery is clearly her area of expertise, she is also a very skilled general surgeon. She puts in her hours at the breast surgery, general surgery, wounds, and telemedicine clinics so she sees a wide range of issues on a regular basis. These issues include all kinds of cancers (intestine, rectum, thyroid, lymphoma, etc. ) and issues like hemorrhoids.
