Assist. Prof. Dr. Ali Asghar

Dr Ali Asghar is practising as Assistant Professor and Consultant Endocrinologist at Liaquat National Hospital and Medical College, Medicare Cardiac and General Hospital and Fatimiyah Hospital, Karachi. Dr Asghar graduated from Sindh Medical College. He completed his training in Internal Medicine from the Aga Khan University Hospital, Karachi. In the same year, he also became member of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom. He later completed his clinical fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism from the Aga Khan University Hospital, Karachi. He has also received Fellowship of the American College of Endocrinology. Dr Asghar is an Executive Member and also the Joint Secretary of the prestigious Pakistan Endocrine Society. He has also been a cabinet member in the Pakistan Chapter of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists. He has a number of research publications to his credit. He is also an eloquent speaker and has been invited to speak in many scientific conferences.
